I think that is what I am missing most during this time: hugs.
I never realized how much I love to hug, express physical hugs, love receiving them, and depend on those physical contacts of feeling love expressions. Lanny jokes that I have to hug every sci-fi attendee at the conventions, every dog at the airport (or shopping center, or in a parking lot … any excuse will do for doggie hugs).
I hug the mailman, my family as much as I can, and I hug random people who I pass having a hard day. I ask them if they need a hug. Half the time they nod and fall into a bear hug and we just share random love between two random people. It’s heart opening and inspiring. Right now, I am sure Freedom is wondering why the heck she is being smothered with even MORE hugs right now.
They say hugs are great for your Immune System. Maybe that’s why I’m so healthy and full of vim and vigor. As we know, love heals and creates everything. And I guess I am using love hugs to create me.
I like that thought. And I have begun the practice of picking someone every day to virtually hug and love on. Just to remind my brain I am still hugging myself into Love Creation. Yesterday, I hugged Tom Hanks virtually. I bet he loved it!
Who do you want to hug today? Do it! Remember, your brain/energy experiences virtual hugs as being real, so HUG AWAY. Hug anyone you desire … virtually.
See? You feel better already!
BLESSINGS,
DEE
“I will not play tug o’ war. I’d rather play hug o’ war. Where everyone hugs instead of tugs. Where everyone giggles and rolls on the rug. Where everyone kisses, and everyone grins, and everyone cuddles, and everyone wins.”
-Shel Silverstein
As I was reading this tears started streaming from my eyes as I received a beautiful, energetic hug from my dear friend (a Kansas city girl) that left her earthly body last year. It was warm and wonderful; she gave me a big squeeze! Thank you Dee for facilitating this!
