I stopped by to see my grandson unexpectedly the other day. It was lunchtime.

Let me begin by saying … you don’t get in the way of Stone and his food. I’ve never seen a kid who loves to eat like my grandson! He was sitting while his helper was offering it up as quickly as it was safe to shove it in.

He saw me and stopped. He reached his little hands up to me (cue music.) And then … he realized the food was there. He quickly turned his attention back to the task at hand. But … Grandma is here! Up went the little arms reaching for me. I walked closer but then …WAIT! … the food is here! Torn between two lovers!

I watched as this precious being wanted both the things he loved. That is where many of us are caught in our adult lives … which choice do I make? I wanted to teach him in that moment. You can have it all, Stone. Finish your food and my arms will be waiting.

Claim it all, my friends. Let the Universe embrace you!  You can have it all!

Blessings,
DEE
