I just finished another beautiful film which I am very proud to be a part of. It was a story of, ultimately, self-worth, that goes in and out of a story within a story about this magical “film” world, and myself, Dee Wallace, who plays the wise matriarch of several characters who express different challenges in their lives. It is also an exploration of how important and life defining movies can be, and how they touch the world and the lives of people in it.
As it often plays out in the synchronicity of my life, those messages were everywhere – on and off the set. I received a cameo request while I was there from a man asking me to read a poem he had written for his mother on the anniversary of her death. One if his favorite memories was watching E.T. with her every year. It reminded me of the story of the mother who told me of her autistic son who was ten whom she had never heard speak. She took him to see the re-release of E.T., and on the way home, he said every line E.T. had in the film. A miracle from a movie. I had the line in this movie, “What we do here is important.” I knew how to deliver that line from my heart.
There was also a theme about forgiveness and claiming our self-identity and importance. I thought of our motto in Conscious Creation: Loving yourself is the key to Creation.
I invite you to look for, and attract, the positive synchronicities in your lives. They are magical…and they are everywhere.
Blessings,
DEE
